Overview Provide reliable, hands-on cleaning and light-maintenance support for a multi-unit residential property. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe apartments and attractive grounds while responding to basic repair and turnover tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean vacant and occupied units: sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms and kitchens, wipe surfaces, and dispose of trash and recycling.
  • Perform unit turnover tasks: move furniture and appliances, remove debris, and prepare apartments for new tenants.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and repairs: change light bulbs, replace air filters, tighten hardware, patch minor wall damage, and address simple plumbing/electrical issues within training scope.
  • Maintain grounds: pick up litter, sweep entrances and walkways, and assist with exterior upkeep as needed.
  • Report larger repair needs to management and follow safety procedures when working with tools and equipment.
  • Keep accurate logs of completed work and materials used.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or apartment turnover preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move furniture, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic handyman skills or willingness to learn (minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full schedule.

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor the full parcel lifecycle including label creation, Panda sortation, staging, and dock loading.
  • Assign tasks and ensure clear ownership for each section of the parcel process, holding associates accountable for execution.
  • Supervise and coach associates to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Conduct regular Gaylord audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and readiness for outbound shipment.
  • Oversee dock management, ensuring parcels are staged, scanned, and loaded on time to meet carrier requirements.
  • Report parcel lifecycle performance and dock metrics to management, highlighting risks and proposing corrective actions.
  • Partner with maintenance or support teams to troubleshoot equipment or workflow issues.
  • Reinforce company and site-specific safety policies, modeling safe work behaviors and coaching associates as needed.
  • Take corrective action when safety, quality, or productivity standards are not followed.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and driving corrective solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
 
What You'll Need
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Prior leadership experience with accountability for team performance.
  • Experience with parcel sortation, dock operations, or fulfillment logistics strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment (temperature fluctuates with seasons).
  • Regularly able to lift/move up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 75 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and accountability skills, with the ability to clearly assign and follow up on work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates and management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
 
Details
  • Mon- Fri 8am to 4:30pm with flexibility to work OT on Saturdays or Sundays. 
  • $19.35 an hour

Job Functions:
  • Receive daily orders of materials
  • Carefully check materials and make sure they match the invoice
  • Effectively communicate errors with suppliers
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Inspect materials for damages
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to communicate with suppliers
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be forklift certified
  • Must be able to handle physical aspects of the job
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Attention to detail is critical
