Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a chemical technician position at a company in New Milford, CT. The chemical technician pours liquid and powder chemicals into specific-sized containers. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $17.50 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pour liquid and powder chemicals into various-sized bottles and plastic bags
- Pack products
- Move drums using hand truck
- Keep work area clean
- Other duties as necessary
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Previous experience with chemicals and measuring products preferred
- Required to wear PPE: safety glasses, aprons, gloves, safety jackets and sleeves
