Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a warehouse clerk position at a company in Bridgeport, CT. The warehouse clerk also works on the sales floor and assists customers. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-4 p.m. or 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $19 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks
- Prepare products for shipping
- Maintain inventory in warehouse
- Stock sales floor from warehouse inventory
- Organize and test batteries
- Install batteries for customers
- Assist customers on sales floor
- Keep work area clean
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Warehouse experience
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting
- Computer skills
- Comfortable assisting customers in a retail setting
- Able to read and write in English
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma
- Able to work overtime and Saturdays, as needed
