Hamilton Connections in Meriden is hiring for a Valve Assembler and tester for a locally owned company in Meriden which manufactures a wide variety of parts, components, sub-assemblies and valves for the Aerospace industry
Job Description:
Work with a team to assemble a wide variety of valve's utilized in the aerospace industry. Test assembled valve's using hydraulic fluid, water or air as required to verify the performance of the valve prior to delivery to the customer. Perform FAA approved overhaul and repair work as requested by customers. Valves are typically assembled at a work bench utilizing a variety of hand tools and automated equipment per detailed blue prints and/or work instructions
Required Skills:
- Ability to use small hand/power tools
- Ability to sit or stand for extended times
- Manuel dexterity required for handling small parts
