Hamilton Connections is looking for a for a Bookkeeper for a busy manufacturing company in the Waterbury. This is a first sift position. $45k a year.
Bookkeeper:
- Track income and expenses, prepare/manage professional bookkeeping reports.
- Build a monthly set of records and accounts for all income and expenses, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, produce management reports.
- Process payroll.
- Manage vendors, identify new vendors
- Assume additional responsibilities/duties as business needs change.
Supply Chain:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Manage relationships, maintain strong communications with vendors.
- Paying vendor bills.
- Maintain a system for tracking purchase orders and shipments.
- PO issuance, track inbound supplies, identifying and mitigating delays impacting finished goods deliveries.
- Determine inventory levels, purchase
- Help inventory processes with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assume additional responsibilities/duties as business needs change.
Competencies:
- Bookkeeping: 2+ years (Required)
- Associates or Bachelor's (Required)
- QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification (Preferred)
- Complete reconciliations: 2 years
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and lead others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite
- Strong software skills
