A manufacturer in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join the warehouse team. This is a critical, high-profile position requiring a motivated, detail-oriented multi-tasker. The person in this role will report directly to the company controller.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with paid lunch break. Overtime possible.

Pay range: $19-$20/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setup and run shipping equipment.
• Regular forklift inspections.
• Shipping, receiving, stocking.
• Review and process orders.
• Verify order and inventory details.
• Oversee inventory and ensure adequate space for incoming materials.
• Wrap pallets.
• Utilize UPS, FedEx, and other online shipping systems.
• Evaluating accuracy of product.
• Maintaining clean warehouse and individual work area.
• Other tasks as necessary.

• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• UPS and FedEx online experience.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Excellent attendance.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs.
