Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an overnight quality technician position at a manufacturing company in Walden NY. Day and overnight shifts are available. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 9 p.m.-5 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for quality, food packaging safety and other requirements
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
- Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material
- Maintain other sample requirements as defined
- Maintain strict confidentiality and protect privacy of confidential/sensitive information
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics
- 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams and Outlook
- Prior quality experience utilizing testing equipment strongly preferred
- Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and well-organized
- Able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options
- Comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
