A manufacturing company in Stratford, CT is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting quality assurance initiatives, investigating product and process issues, conducting inspections, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing operation.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience
- Participate in and support ISO 9001 audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality documentation
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality tools
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
