Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a quality control inspector position at a manufacturing company in Newtown, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $22-$24 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Check incoming products and in-house assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
- Communicate information on failed product inspections
- Document all test reports in software system
- Work closely with engineering and production to resolve issues
- Support all quality issues
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Manufacturing and/or quality control experience
- Experience using mechanical measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometer and gages
- Competent in performing daily tasks with minimal supervision
- Competent in the documenting, processing, and maintenance of all applicable paperwork
- Competent in the reading of complicated blueprints and detailed inspection of complicated parts and exercising good judgment
- Competent in the mechanical, visual and sometimes functional inspection of purchased parts and in-house subassemblies to predetermined standards
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- High school diploma
