Hamilton Connections is looking to fill a Quality Assurance role for a manufacturing company in the Wallingford area. Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw material, verify certification of analysis to specification, label coils with the CCode and scan certifications.
- Ensure traceability to raw material and traveler is controlled. Verify all material codes for the correct approvals per customer requirements and record on traveler
- Verify all COC's from outside processes are complete and to PO, initial and date.
- Ensure completion of parts and travelers in line with Quality Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Ensure all batch documentation and supporting records are completed correctly and on time, inputted correctly and close all travelers in JobBOSS.
- Create all new IMS's
- Create all new FAIR's in preparation of new laser
- Create part marking pages with pictures of the part and part marking label per CAR
Liaise with Quality manager for preparation of Audits - Assist in CAPA activities
- Create Standard Operating Procedures for inspection operations
- Ensure all manufacturing Work Instruction and Quality Procedures are maintained current and in a state of compliance
- Train at Acu-Gage to learn inspection equipment.
- Observe and comply with ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP and customer requirements
- Observe and comply with company SOP's, Safety and lock out / tag out policies
- Undertake any other duties which may be requested by the President or Quality Manager for which training has been provided and is understood
- Participate in internal housekeeping inspections, quality and client audits
- Ensure all client information is kept confidential and not disclosed to unapproved parties or persons per ITAR
- Scanning and organizing CAR's, RMA's, FAIR's, Mat'l Cert's, Customer Spec's, Quality Clauses, Customer Dwg.'s etc. and centralize them all into their individual folders for easy access.
- Keep specifications for customer updated on a quarterly basis.
- Preparing Sub-tier Survey's from ASL list and keep up to date.
- Assist with other duties that may be required
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of numeracy and literacy.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Competent in computer software.
- Able to multi-task effectively under pressure.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Familiar with IS09001 / AS9100 / AMS specifications.
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings.
Work schedule: 6am-330pm Monday through Thursday and then 6am-10am on Friday.
Pay: $24 DOE
