Hamilton Connections is looking for candidates for production operator position on the second shift at a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The production operator is responsible for the set up and operation of equipment that blends, packages and/or transports liquid or dry chemicals for products.
The hours are 3 p.m.-11:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $25 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery, tools and equipment, including mill machines, automated punching machines, capping machines, etc.
- Prep production prior to shift start
- Perform equipment changeovers
- Document results of activities performed via work orders
- Package and label product
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Strong machine setup and operating experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Understanding of weights and measures – U.S. and Metric
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including standing for long periods and continuous movement
- Knowledge of basic Spanish a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
