Hamilton Connections is seeking Press Assistants at a manufacturing company in Westfield, MA. Candidate with machine operating experience preferred, but candidates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
There are day/night openings (6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am) 4 days on, 4 days off rotation. The pay is $18 - $20 per hour based on experience.
Job responsibilities:
- Operate printing press as needed.
- Coordinate duties with operator to minimize waste and downtime.
- Prepare for upcoming jobs.
- Retrieve ink from inventory.
- Stage ink and plates.
- Other duties as designated or assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Climbing stairs, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and squatting.
- Walking and standing on concrete floors for most of shift
- Minimal lifting, occasionally up to 40 lbs.
