Immediate 2nd shift opening for local Manufacturing Company in Durham, CT
Responsibilities:
Oversees the powder coating of products produced by assigned finishing line, assigns line operators job duties, maintains production and quality standards, and follows all safety procedures and company policies.
- Applies powder coating to metal products according to production standard.
- Hangs products onto overhead conveyor
- Cleans booth as required for color change
- Changes hooks as required
- Visually inspects products for defects. Immediately alerts lead person of any non-standard conditions.
- Works at a pace consistent with job production standards
- Follows 7-S policies, procedures, and meets goals
- Follows all safety rules and policies and immediately reports any unsafe conditions to the supervisor
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area
- Participates in all training as required
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess manual dexterity and physical requirements for standing, removing products from pallets, and loading products onto overhead conveyor lines
- Ability to follow directions, inspect and paint products
- Frequently lift or move material up to 40lbs:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to work effectively with a group of people with diverse abilities and backgrounds
- Must complete medical questionnaire and get fitted for respirator
- No facial hair is a requirement due to respirator program
