Hamilton Connections is looking for candidates for picker-packer for a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. The picker-packer is responsible for packaging completed assemblies, verifying pick lists, obtaining all necessary documents and shipping completed orders. This is a long-term, temporary position.  

8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, $18.37 an hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and arrange pick list based on commitment level to customers
• Use RF scanners accurately to pick items and quantities
• While packing confirm picked and package items in appropriate shipping container
• Follow all special instructions on pick list
• Operate shipping computer
• Assist in warehouse functions such as cycle counts and product placement
• Perform administrative work such as data entry, filing, order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
• Operate material handling equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Shipping experience
• Material handling equipment experience, such as forklift
• Average manual dexterity
• Able to handle physical aspect of job
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Reading and writing language skills necessary for making and reading labels
• Organization skills
