Part-Time Warehouse Custodian
The Warehouse Custodian in Wallingford, CT is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse environment. This role involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas and ensure proper disposal.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves, equipment, and machinery.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory storage areas.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
Hours and Pay:
- Monday through Friday
- 1pm to 5pm
- $18.00 hourly
