Forklift Operator & Pallet Jack Operator
Hamilton Connections is hiring Forklift Operators for a logistics company located in Westfield, MA. We are looking for skilled pallet jack & forklift operators to load/unload trailers & move pallets throughout the facility. This is a very fast paced warehouse environment so prior experience is required. You will be operating a pallet jack & forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The company is growing and looking to expand their logistics staff! Hours are Sunday - Thursday 4pm - 12:30am $18/hr.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Skills
- Proven experience as pallet jack & forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
Job Duties:
- Load and unload trucks
- Move and stack materials
- Perform proper forklift inspections and follow pallet jack & forklift operating guidelines and procedures
