Hamilton Connections is looking for a Paint/Batch Maker for a manufacturing company in Cheshire area. Previous Industrial Paint/Batch Maker experience a plus but not necessary.
6 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday and half days on Saturday. $18-$20 per hour
Primary responsibilities:
The primary role of the Paint/Batch maker is to produce paint and related products by setting up, operating and/or tending machines to mix and blend materials such as chemicals, compounds, color pigments, and other ingredients to precise, written batch specifications.
Required skills:
- Ability to often lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Able to climb up and down stairs throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail (ie. Measuring, weighing, following batch sheets)
- Strict adherence to written batch sheets.
- Maintain strict counts of what is produced.
- Mechanical aptitude. Identifying potential issues with equipment.
- Able to operate a fork truck preferred, though will train.
- Able to perform simple math calculations (ie. Multiply, divide, add/subtract)
- Ability to work in a team environment and the willingness to be cross-functional, when needed.
- Ability to stand on feet, bend, stretch, and twist for 8 plus hours.
Qualifications:
