Hamilton Connections is looking for packers for a manufacturer and supplier of eyelets and blind rivets in Wolcott, CT. This is a temp-to-perm position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Candidates must be available to work weekends as needed.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Pay depends on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pulls and stacks products based on daily orders
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
- Good knowledge of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Weighs products and labels them appropriately
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Two or more years of manufacturing experience
- Packing experience
- Knowledge of basic math; accuracy in counts
- Responsible, reliable, and take ownership of assigned duties
- Ability to take initiative and organize work independently
