Hamilton Connections is currently recruiting for a Materials Planner for a local Branford Company
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic inventory
- Maintain safety stock, order quantities for raw materials, intermediates and finished products to support SIOP planning
- Develop, manage and adjust production schedules
- Coordinate activities of multi plant materials to support manufacturing and sales
- Manage warehousing procedures (receiving, picking and shipping)
- Manage raw material and finished goods
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate control mechanisms are in place to achieve on time delivery
- Review system requirements, manage shortages and run material planning and Inventory reports
- Respond to customer requests and concerns
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Purchasing/Business
- Experience leading, training and developing a team
- Min of 3-5 years of Materials/Supply Chain/Scheduling experience
- Good written, verbal and problem solving skills
- Experience with Epicor or similar ERP/MRP systems
- Inventory management experience using integrated business software
- Willingness to attend Supply Chain continuous education and seminars
- Be able to pass a pre employment DT and background check
- High ;evel of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access) Teams, Smartsheet and other planning tools as available.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Move and lift items up to 49lbs independently and over 50lbs with assistance of a 2nd person
- Able to bend an reach and perform other duties as needed
