Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an incoming inspector position at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The incoming inspector is responsible for ensuring products are inspected as per company policies and procedures.
The hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $25.50-$27.50 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test (using special measurements) incoming goods
- Communicate information on failed product inspections
- Perform and record first article inspections per procedure
- Document all test reports in software system
- Work closely with engineering and production management to prioritize projects and optimize resources to accommodate peak production periods
- Support all quality issues
- Document and maintain records of the quarantined materials
- Coordinate and maintain calibration records
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Technical degree preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in production inspection and/or quality control
- Proficient in MS Office
- ERP experience
- Warehouse management system experience
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, including CMM
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
