Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a CNC milling machinist position at a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20-$30 an hour, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, maintenance and operation of Haas CNC mills
- Deliver production jobs on time and within budget
- Monitor in-process dimension standards
- Review instructions to understand specifications of output
- Monitor machine while working to make necessary adjustments and identify issues
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Experience operating CNC mills; experience operating lathes a plus
- Experience setting up CNC machines for production
- Possess a good understanding of QA and/or manufacturing processes
- Experience with measuring instruments and blueprints
- ISO/AS9100 experience a plus
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
- Able to work overtime when needed
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
