Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an assembler position at a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $20-$23 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to assemble products
- Use tools such as grinders to debur assemblies
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards
- Maintain clean work environment
- Assist in other departments when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 3 or more years of assembly experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to the assembly process
- Experience operating tools such as grinders, rotaries and saws
- Able to read and work from blueprints
- Strong mechanical skills
- Communication skills
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
