Responsibilities:
- Weld plasma components certifying per various industry requirements.
- Ensure completion is in line with Quality Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Ensure all batch documentation and supporting records are completed correctly and on time, inputted into ERP system, to ensure on time delivery.
- Ensure traceability to raw material and work order is controlled.
- Liaise with Purchasing in the provision and replenishment of materials for production and packaging activities, maintain and inventory raw material and consumables as necessary.
- Report non-compliance situations that arise within your areas of responsibility to the Quality Manager and assist in subsequent activities.
- Ensure all manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures are maintained current and in a state of compliance.
- Ensure production areas and equipment are maintained in compliance with maintenance log and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) policies
- Identify and assist in activities associate with implementing process improvements.
- Observe and comply with various industry and customer requirements.
- Observe and comply with company Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and lock out / tag out policies.
- Participate in internal housekeeping inspections, quality and client audits.
- Ensure all client information is kept confidential and not disclosed to unapproved parties or persons per ITAR
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of manual lathe, presses and/or form rolling equipment.
- Bench welding skills are a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes with the ability to read work orders.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry helpful, but not required.
- Knowledge of measurement tools; calipers/verniers, pi tapes, micrometers, drop indicators, helpful
- Knowledge of blueprints, helpful.
- Pay close attention to detail and tight tolerances.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must have a steady hand.
- Be able to work without supervision machining parts.
- Ability to manufacture accurate quantities, while maintaining quality is a must.
- Good problem-solving skills with strong verbal and written communications.
- Competent in basic computer operation.
- Have a willingness to learn and be a team player.
- Must work 40 hours a week but be flexible (as overtime may be required)
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have good attendance with a great attitude ready to work.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have U.S. Citizenship (per aerospace policies)
Work schedule: 6am-330pm Monday through Thursday and then 6am-10am on Friday.
$20-$24 DOE
