We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING / PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance in a food production environment and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve various maintenance issues. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our facilities and machines while eliminating downtime in our production facility.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic quality of properties.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall facility operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead projects effectively.
- Experience in residential painting techniques and materials.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
