A prominent manufacturer in Durham, CT has an immediate need for an experienced maintenance mechanic. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, professional, meticulous, and articulate collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Day shift; Monday-Thursday. Overtime offered on Friday; may be mandatory depending on work flow.

5:45am-4:15pm or 6:00am-4:30pm, Mon-Thu. Overtime may be offered or required on Fridays.

$25-$32 per hour to start DOE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on and installations of production machinery and other equipment utilizing a variety of tools and processes.
• Utilize hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment; perform welding and fabrication as required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions including blueprints and schematics to successfully perform tasks.
• Follow safety procedures, lockout/tag out, and maintain clean facility.
• Complete all necessary documentation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a machine mechanic in a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job including bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills.
