Currently hiring entry level & experienced Machine Operators to fill temp to hire positions with a large manufacturing company located in East Longmeadow, MA. Interested Machine Operator candidates should be interested in on-the-job training. Minimum of 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, although not required.
Benefits/Compensation of the Machine Operator
· Weekly Pay – Day Shift starting at $16.25/hr and Night Shift at $17.00/hr
SUMMER INCENTIVE PAY – ADDITIONAL $1/HR making day shift starting pay $17.25/hr and Night shift starting pay $18.00/hr
· Bi-weekly Attendance Bonus
· 36/48/36/48 hour rotating days schedule (12 hour shifts)

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
· Assist in successful operation of machine
· Work with process technician to control the speed of the machine to meet production goals
· Assist in keeping area neat & clean
· Responsible for utilizing any personal protective equipment that is necessary for the task
· Ensure that safety is the top priority
· Diagnose & troubleshoot minor machine issues; escalate as needed
· Maintain accurate production records
· Complete assigned tasks in a safe & timely manner
Requirements of the Machine Operator
· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Good time management skills
· Must be a self-starter who can work efficiently with little supervision
· Proficiency in communicating in English via 2-way radio
· 3 months experience in manufacturing preferred, not required
· Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift
· Ability to reach, stretch, push, pull as needed
