Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for machine operator for the second shift at a company in Windsor CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.
The hours are 6 pm.- 6 am. on a rotating schedule of three days one week and four days the next week. The pay is $16.69 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret instructions; order materials; complete production records, as required
- Perform process related trouble-shooting and correction to ensure dimensions and quality of piece; monitor production
- Perform other department operations, including proper separation of tray tags, collating, stapling and gluing
- Keep immediate work area neat and orderly
- Comply with company rules, regulations and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data
- Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department
- Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives
- Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company
