Hamilton Connections is seeking an inside sales associate for an industrial printing company in Bethel, CT. The inside sales associate drives sales and revenue growth by effectively communicating with potential clients, managing existing accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $45,000-$50,000 a year, plus commission.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct outside sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation and qualifying potential customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, and promptly address customer concerns
- Use sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Develop a strong understanding of company products and communicate their value to customers
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies
- Attend tradeshows and industry events, as needed, to build connections with potential clients
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecast and analyses
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and maintain competitive edge
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and production, to ensure execution of customer requirements
Job Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience in B2B sales; experience in industrial printing or similar field a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to confidently present to and engage potential clients
- Strong negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach to address customer needs
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools to track customer interactions and opportunities
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; two- or four-year degree a plus
