Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a HR administrator/payroll specialist at a manufacturing company in Watertown CT.
The hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $40 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy for time worked and compensation received
- Maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data
- Verify the accuracy of payroll data entered and addressing any discrepancies that arise
- Answer employee questions and troubleshoot issues related to payroll
- Prepare reports for management on payroll matters and changes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least five years of payroll processing experience
- Experience with ADP, Paycom, Paylocity or Kronos systems strongly preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws
- Excellent communication skills
