Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a forklift operator position at a manufacturing company in Sandy Hook CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 6 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday-Friday. The salary is $21 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Move materials in warehouse using forklifts
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain records
- Keep designated areas organized and clean
- Gather scrap material throughout plant and load in trailer
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of forklift experience
- Previous forklift certification
- Warehouse experience
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting
- Reliable and punctual
- High school diploma or equivalent
