Hamilton Connections is looking for a forklift operator for a manufacturing company in Cheshire, CT. This is a temp-to-perm position.
The hours are 6 a.m.-4:30 p.m. plus OT, Monday-Friday. The pay is $18-$19 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare merchandise for shipping
- Transport materials to different locations
- Stacking and moving pallets
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
- Securing loads to the machine before transportation
- Inspecting for damages to vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners
- Good physical condition
- Mathematical aptitude
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication
