Hamilton Connections of Waterbury is looking for a driver/warehouse associate for a warehouse in Farmington, CT. Previous box truck experience required, receiving experience a plus but not necessary. This is a temp-to-perm position.

7 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, $18 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks and pallet jacks to make deliveries
• Spend majority of work hours seated
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Interact with customers on a daily basis
• Separate transfers and load them onto respective trucks
• Determine best shipping method for products according to company policy

• Valid driver’s license and med card required
• Ability to operate motor vehicle and barcode reader
• Computer skills
• Ability to move up to 200 pounds on occasion during deliveries
• Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
