Hamilton Connections is seeking a dispatcher/delivery supervisor for a fuel company in Danbury, CT. The dispatcher/delivery supervisor is the second in command of all deliveries for three company locations. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
The hours are 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $60,000-$80,000 a year, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise dispatching of bulk loads for three locations
- Provide instructions and coaching of dispatch staff
- Ensure successfully routing delivery of loads to customers
- Accurately maintain data and reports
- Review reports and manage product accordingly
- Maintain outstanding customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in supervisor/operational support role for a fuel company
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with vehicle tracking systems, order entry and dispatching software
- Strong advocate for drivers
- Analytical skills to review reports and manage product
- Ability to multi-task
- Customer service skills
- Available to work weekends/long shifts, as needed
- Safety conscious, detail oriented and organized
- High school diploma or equivalent
