Hamilton Connections is looking for an experienced die setter for a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. The die setter sets up and operates presses based on job specifications. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $30-$35 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and adjust various sizes of dies into presses based on job specifications
- Inspect pieces to ensure quality of products and make adjustments, as needed
- Change and/or repair dies when needed
- Perform routine maintenance of machines
- Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed
- Keep work area clean
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of die setting experience
- Machining experience to make repairs to die sets as needed
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
- Willingness to help in other manufacturing areas as needed
- Great attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
