Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for delivery dispatcher at a fuel company in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The delivery dispatcher is responsible for customer service, proper routing of deliveries and dispatching work to drivers. Candidates must be highly safety conscious, detail-oriented and organized.
The hours are 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, during the busy season and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. during the off season. Candidates should be flexible to work weekends and overtime, as needed. The salary is $20-$22 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain outstanding customer service at all times
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of each task performed
- Accurately enter customer orders into the dispatch system
- Carefully and accurately put together routes for the drivers
- Accurately record inventory levels
- Neatly and completely fill out delivery paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Previous dispatch or operational support experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer literate
- Available to work weekends as needed
