Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a custodian position at a manufacturing company in Walden NY. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $19.50 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Service, clean, and sanitize employee common areas, including breakrooms, restrooms, entryways, and other areas as required
- Dust, clean, and sanitize various surfaces, including floors, mats, door handles, windows, mirrors, and other areas as required
- Empty and dispose of trash receptacles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
- Mix water, detergents, or other cleaning solutions as needed, following safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations
- Monitor and report any issues related to safety hazards, repairs, or maintenance needs; appropriately escalating high-risk and major repairs in a timely manner as necessary
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
- All other duties as needed
