Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a CNC operator position at a precision machining company in New Milford, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $18-$25 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Inspect and measure products
- Prepare and load raw materials onto machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Experience setting up and operating CNC lathe machines
- Able to read, interpret and work from blueprints
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting
- Strong computer skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass pre-employment screening
