Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for assembly line leader for the second shift for a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. The line leader serves as the right-hand person for the production manager or group leader. Manufacturing assembly and leadership experience is required. This is a temp-to-perm position.  

3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday, $24.07 an hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficiency and output of assembly teams with direction from group leader or production manager
• Serve as backup for group leader or production manager
• Prepare for production changeovers between products
• Ensure that all assemblies follow standard work instructions and production order
• Serve as the right-hand to leadership, and execute special tasks within assembly process
• Manage material transaction in SAP via terminals or handheld scanners
• Manage label printing for product
• Coordinate rework processes
• Provide training support for other assemblers
• Maintain order at the workplace
• Cooperation within assembly team

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing assembly experience
• Experience leading assembly and/or manufacturing team
• Manual dexterity and mechanical ability
• Able to lift up to 44 lbs.
• Able to operate manufacturing equipment and test equipment
• Time management skills to meet deadlines
• Proficient in the use of computers and other electronic interface equipment
• SAP knowledge a plus
