Hamilton Connections is seeking an assembler for a manufacturing company in Oxford, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.
Monday-Friday, 7:30 – 3:30 $15.69 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet daily production requirements
- Follow all work instructions to ensure consistent product quality
- Recommend measures to improve efficiency, product quality, and safety
- Maintain all work areas in a neat and orderly fashion
- Notify Team Leader of any quality or safety-related concerns
- Keep the Team Leader informed on all ongoing activities
- Demonstrate initiative by evaluating situations, making decisions based on facts and solid judgments
- Act in a manner that represents the professional manner reflecting the company’s values and principles
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with subordinates, supervisors, and all other staff members
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a positive example to coworkers
- Perform all duties in a manner that is compliant with all applicable regulatory bodies (FDA/ISO)
- Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Team Leader
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of assembly experience
- Good math skills
- Average manual dexterity
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to read and write English
