Hamilton Connections is looking for assemblers at a company in Stamford, CT. The quality supervisor is responsible for managing the local quality team, being involved in developing new products, and ensuring the products and processes follow the company’s quality standard. This is temp to hire opportunity.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:3 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay rate is $18/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow and interpret technical documents (i.e. part drawings, work instructions) for all assembly operations, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Conform to all safe work practices and quality standards, maintaining clean & organized work areas and awareness of workplace layout and surroundings
- Working from work samples, work instructions, bill of materials and/or verbal instructions assemble products, properly use tooling, fixtures, and chemicals and other assembly aids
- Properly package products and support movement of material and accurate parts inventory
- Use of ERP system for job tracking
- Manual/Physical labor lifting heavy items, with standing, walking and climbing of stairs the norm
