Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a second-shift assembler position at a manufacturing company in Danbury CT. This is a long-term, temp position.
The hours are 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $19.83 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders
- Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order in a quality and schedule-minded fashion
- Execute special tasks within the assembly process
- Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products
- Maintain order at the workplace
- Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams
- Perform computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
- Coordinate transport arrangements with shipping
- Prioritize and arrange production papers and pick list based on commitment level to customers
Job Requirements
- Assembly and/or manufacturing experience
- Strong hand tools experience
- Able to follow written directions and read procedures
- Mechanical experience
- Forward thinking with good time management skills
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to operate manufacturing equipment and electronic test equipment
- Excellent communication skills
