A well-established manufacturing company in Norwalk is seeking a Inventory Specialist to join their logistics and warehouse operations team.
Position Overview:
The Inventory Specialist will play an important role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of materials within the warehouse — from receiving and preparation to outbound shipment. This position will work closely with warehouse leadership to maintain efficiency and meet daily operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle, organize, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Support outbound shipping by preparing cleaned and packaged materials for delivery.
- Collaborate with supervisors to maintain workflow and accuracy.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Outlook, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience with SAP strongly preferred.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Forklift operation and inventory management experience a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
