The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and documentation of materials within the facility. This role supports production, shipping, receiving, and inventory to ensure efficient operations. Strong ERP experience is required, with SAP experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and verify accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Move materials to appropriate storage locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
- Pull, stage, and deliver materials to production areas according to work orders and schedules.
- QC
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s ERP system.
- Perform daily cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and completing required documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Communicate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to resolve material discrepancies or delays.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience using ERP systems (required).
- SAP experience (strongly preferred).
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Hours are Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Pay is $24/hr
